Getting There

  If you are driving from the main areas of New River Gorge National Park, head towards US-19 S. Follow US-19 S for approximately 6 miles. Take the exit for WV-16 N toward Fayetteville. Continue on WV-16 N for about 3 miles. Turn left onto Visitor Center Rd. Follow Visitor Center Rd for about 1 mile and you will arrive at the Canyon Rim Visitor Center located at 162 Visitor Center Rd, Lansing, WV 25862.

Start by taking a bus from your location to the nearest transit hub that connects to the region. Once you arrive at the nearest town, you can use a rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) to reach Canyon Rim Visitor Center.
