From Weirton, head to the nearest bus stop on Main Street. Take the West Virginia Transit Authority bus route that heads towards Pittsburgh. Make sure to check the schedule for the next bus. Once you arrive at the Pittsburgh bus terminal, you will need to transfer to the Port Authority of Allegheny County bus service. Look for the bus number that goes towards Allegheny Ave in Pittsburgh. After a short ride, get off at the stop closest to 1 Allegheny Ave, which is near the Carnegie Science Center.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental stations in Weirton. Start your ride towards Pittsburgh, following the bike-friendly routes. The ride will take you through scenic parts of the area. Once you reach Pittsburgh, follow bike lanes towards the North Shore area until you reach Allegheny Ave. The Carnegie Science Center will be just ahead.

If you're up for a long walk, you can trek from Weirton to Pittsburgh. Start by heading towards the Fort Steuben Bridge, which will lead you over the Ohio River. Once in Pittsburgh, make your way towards the North Shore area. Follow signs for Allegheny Ave, and the Carnegie Science Center will be located at 1 Allegheny Ave. This option is quite lengthy and may take several hours, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes.
