Getting There

• Public Transportation

  From the center of Weirton, make your way to the nearest bus stop. Take the Weirton Transit bus to the New Cumberland area. Ask the driver to drop you off at the closest stop to Veterans Blvd. Once you get off the bus, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles. Head east on the Veterans Blvd, following the road signs towards Tomlinson Run State Park. The park is located at 3391 Veterans Blvd, New Cumberland, WV 26047. Look for the entrance sign which will guide you into the park.

• Bicycle

  If you are cycling, start at the Weirton City Park. Head north on Main Street until you reach the intersection with State Route 2. Turn left onto State Route 2 and follow it for about 4 miles until you reach Veterans Blvd. Turn right onto Veterans Blvd, and continue biking for another mile until you see the entrance to Tomlinson Run State Park on your left at 3391 Veterans Blvd, New Cumberland, WV 26047.

• Walking

  For those who prefer to walk, start from the downtown area of Weirton. Walk north along Main Street until you reach State Route 2. Continue north on State Route 2 for approximately 4 miles. After that, turn right onto Veterans Blvd and walk for about 1 mile until you reach Tomlinson Run State Park at 3391 Veterans Blvd, New Cumberland, WV 26047. It's a pleasant walk with some scenic views along the way.
