Public Transit - Bus
From Weirton, head to the nearest bus stop and take the 42A bus towards Pittsburgh. Once you arrive at the Pittsburgh station, transfer to the T light rail system at the Station Square stop. Board the 'T' train heading towards the 'Downtown' station. Get off at the 'Station Square' stop. From there, follow the signs to the Duquesne Incline, which is a short walk uphill from the station.
Walking
If you are staying in Weirton and prefer to walk, start at any central location in Weirton and head east towards the Ohio River. Follow the riverbank path north until you reach the Weirton Bridge. Cross the bridge into Pennsylvania, and continue walking along the riverfront. Once you reach Pittsburgh, navigate towards Carson Street and follow it until you see the Duquesne Incline, which is located at 1197 W Carson St. This route will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
