To reach Point State Park from Weirton, start by walking to the nearest bus stop on Main Street. Take the Ohio Valley Regional Transit Authority (OVRTA) bus number 10 towards Pittsburgh. After approximately 30 minutes, disembark at the 'Pittsburgh Bus Station'. From there, exit the station and head toward Liberty Avenue. Turn left on Liberty Avenue and walk about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Commonwealth Place. Turn right onto Commonwealth Place, and you will find Point State Park at 601 Commonwealth Pl.

If you are near the downtown area of Weirton, you can walk to the Weirton Transit bus stop located at the Weirton City Hall. From there, take the public bus towards Pittsburgh and get off at the Pittsburgh Bus Station. Once you arrive at the bus station, exit and head to Liberty Avenue. Walk straight along Liberty Avenue for about 0.5 miles, then turn right onto Commonwealth Place. Continue walking straight, and you will arrive at Point State Park.
