Ferry
To reach Rock Island State Park, first make your way to the Washington Island Ferry located in Northport, Door County. From anywhere in Door County, head towards the northern tip of the peninsula. Follow signs to Northport. Once you arrive at the ferry terminal, purchase your ticket for the Washington Island Ferry service, which operates regularly to Washington Island. The ride takes about 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Washington Island, disembark the ferry and proceed to the Rock Island State Park dock. You will need to take a smaller ferry to Rock Island, which is also operated by the Washington Island Ferry. Make sure to check the ferry schedule ahead of time for departure times to ensure a smooth transition between ferries.

Once you arrive at Rock Island, disembark the ferry and you will find yourself at the Rock Island State Park dock. From here, you can explore the park by walking.
