Start at the intersection of South Barstow Street and East Grand Avenue in downtown Eau Claire. Head south on South Barstow Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach the bus stop at the Plaza Hotel. From there, catch the Metro Transit bus Route 7 towards Menomonie. The bus will take you along the highway towards the direction of Menomonie. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes. When you arrive at the stop closest to N1250 WI-25 (Caddie Woodlawn Historical Marker), disembark. The marker is located about a 5-minute walk from the bus stop. Head north on WI-25, and you will see the Wisconsin State Historical Marker 174 Caddie Woodlawn on your left.

If you prefer to bike, start at the downtown Eau Claire area. You can take the bike path that runs alongside the Chippewa River to connect to the trails leading toward Menomonie. Follow the bike paths until you reach the intersection with WI-25. Continue on WI-25 heading north for about 10 miles. The marker is located at N1250 WI-25, and you will find it on your right as you approach the area. Please ensure you follow all bike safety rules and be cautious of traffic on the road.
