Public Transit - Bus
If you're in downtown Milwaukee, locate the nearest bus stop. Many buses run frequently through the downtown area. You can take the Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) bus number 15, 19, or 30. Board the bus and keep an eye on the digital screens inside for the upcoming stops. Get off at the 'Wells St & Water St' stop. From there, walk east on Wells Street for about two blocks. Milwaukee City Hall will be on your left at 200 E Wells St.
Walking
If you are in the vicinity of the Milwaukee Public Market or the Riverwalk area, you can easily walk to Milwaukee City Hall. Head east on St. Paul Avenue until you reach Water Street. Turn left (north) and walk until you reach Wells Street. Turn right (east) on Wells Street, and continue walking for about two blocks. You'll see Milwaukee City Hall on your left at 200 E Wells St.
Bike Rental
For a more active way to reach Milwaukee City Hall, consider renting a bike from one of the local bike-sharing services. Start by finding a nearby bike station. Once you have a bike, head east on Wells Street. Follow Wells Street for about ten blocks, and you will find Milwaukee City Hall at 200 E Wells St. Make sure to park your bike at the designated bike racks available nearby.
