Public Transportation - Bus
If you are in downtown Milwaukee, walk to the nearest bus stop and take the Milwaukee County Transit System bus route 19, which heads south. Get off at the 'Layton & 5th' stop. From there, walk southwest for about 0.3 miles along Layton Boulevard. The Mitchell Park Domes will be on your left at 524 S Layton Blvd. The total travel time is approximately 30 minutes.
Biking
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing stations, such as Bublr Bikes. Start from downtown and head south on 1st Street, then turn left onto W. Howard Ave. Follow Howard Ave until you reach S. Layton Blvd. Turn left onto Layton Blvd and continue until you reach the Domes. This route is about 3 miles and should take around 20 minutes.
Walking
For those who enjoy walking, start at the Milwaukee Art Museum. Head southwest towards W. Michigan St and continue onto S. 6th St. After about 1 mile, turn right onto W. Howard Ave. Walk along Howard Ave until you reach S. Layton Blvd, then turn left. The Domes will be on your left after about a 0.5-mile walk. This route is approximately 1.5 miles and will take about 30 minutes.
