Getting There

  • Public Transit - Bus

    If you are starting from downtown Milwaukee, walk to the nearest bus stop. You can take the Milwaukee County Transit System bus route 15 or 19. Board the bus heading towards the Lower East Side. After approximately 15-20 minutes, disembark at the stop near the intersection of E North Ave and N Farwell Ave. From there, walk east on E North Ave until you reach N Prospect Ave, then turn left (north) and continue until you reach E Ivanhoe Pl. Turn right on E Ivanhoe Pl, and you will find Black Cat Alley.

    If you are in the vicinity of the Lakefront, start at the Milwaukee Art Museum. Head east towards the lake and follow the path north along the lakefront until you reach E North Ave. Turn left (west) on E North Ave and continue until you reach N Prospect Ave. Turn right (north) and walk until you reach E Ivanhoe Pl.
