The historical marker is located on the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee campus, near the intersection of Downer Ave and Kenwood Blvd.

Start at the intersection of Oakland Ave and Capitol Dr. Head south on Oakland Ave for about 0.8 miles until you reach Kenwood Blvd. Turn left on Kenwood Blvd and continue walking for about 0.5 miles. The historical marker is located on the campus near the intersection of Downer Ave and Kenwood Blvd.
