If you are starting from downtown Wausau, walk to the nearest bus stop on 3rd Street. Take the Metro Ride bus route 2 or 5 heading towards the Wausau East Side. Ride the bus for approximately 10 minutes and get off at the stop on Franklin Street. From the bus stop, walk south on Franklin Street for about 2 blocks until you reach 511 Franklin St, which is the location of Bougainvillea Bed and Breakfast.

If you prefer to bike, start at the River Edge Parkway. Head north towards Scott Street and turn left. Continue on Scott Street until you reach 2nd Street, then turn right. Follow 2nd Street until you reach Franklin Street, and turn left. Bougainvillea Bed and Breakfast will be on your right at 511 Franklin St, approximately a 15-minute ride.
