To reach the Mormon Pioneer Trail from anywhere in Natrona County, start by getting on WY-220 E. If you're in Casper, head south on S Poplar St toward E 2nd St, then turn left onto E 2nd St. Continue straight to merge onto WY-220 E. Follow WY-220 E for about 5 miles. Then, take the right exit for WY-251 N toward Fort Caspar. Continue for about 2 miles until you reach Fort Caspar at 4001 Fort Caspar Rd, Casper, WY 82604. There is no entry fee to visit the site.

If you prefer public transportation, start by taking the Casper Area Transit bus (CAT) from your location. Check the CAT website for the nearest bus stop and schedule. You will want to take a bus towards the downtown area, and from there, transfer to the bus that heads to Fort Caspar. The bus ride will take approximately 30-45 minutes depending on connections.
