From the main entrance of Kasanka National Park, head south on the park's main road. Continue on this road for approximately 25 kilometers until you reach the junction near the park's headquarters. Here, you will see signs directing you towards Mawase Hills. Turn left at the junction and follow the signs for an additional 10 kilometers. You will arrive at Mawase Hills, which will be on your right. Be cautious of any wildlife on the road.

If traveling by public transportation, you can take a minibus from Lusaka to the nearest town, which is approximately 50 kilometers away from Kasanka National Park. From there, you will need to hire a taxi or a local guide who can take you to the park entrance. Once at the entrance, follow the same route as mentioned for car travel. Ensure to arrange for transportation from the town to the park, as public transport may not go directly to Mawase Hills.

If you are already within Kasanka National Park and prefer walking, you can trek from the park headquarters towards Mawase Hills.
