Follow the road for about 15 kilometers until you reach the parking area near the falls. Ensure your vehicle has enough fuel, as refueling options may be limited along the way.
Public Transportation
From Mpika, take a minibus to Sumbawanga, which should cost around 50 ZMW. The journey takes about 2-3 hours. Once you arrive in Sumbawanga, you will need to hire a local taxi or arrange for a motorbike taxi to take you to Kalambo Falls. This should cost approximately 100 ZMW and takes about 30 minutes. Ensure to negotiate the fare beforehand.
