Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the main town in the Eastern Highlands, Mutare. Take the A5 highway north towards Nyanga. Continue on the A5 for about 45 kilometers until you reach the sign for Honde Valley. Turn left onto the R614 road and follow it for approximately 20 kilometers. The road will lead you directly into Honde Valley. Be sure to watch for road signs indicating Honde Valley. The drive takes around 1.5 hours, depending on road conditions.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, head to the Mutare bus station and look for a bus heading to Nyanga. Buses are frequent, and the journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Nyanga, you can take a local taxi or shared minibus to Honde Valley. The taxi ride may cost around $10-15 USD, and it takes about 30 minutes to reach your destination. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they are going to Honde Valley.
