Car
From your location in Mana Pools National Park, head towards the main entrance and take the road leading south towards Chirundu. Follow the signs for Chirundu while navigating through the park. The drive is approximately 60 kilometers and may take around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on road conditions. Once you reach Chirundu, head towards Chiawa. River Horse Safaris is located in Chiawa, which is a few kilometers from Chirundu. Look for signs directing you to River Horse Safaris.

If you are using public transportation, you may need to arrange a taxi or a local minibus from Mana Pools National Park to Chirundu. The fare for a minibus ride to Chirundu typically ranges between $10 to $15 per person. Upon reaching Chirundu, you can hire a local taxi to take you to Chiawa. Ensure you confirm the fare with the driver before starting the journey to avoid any misunderstandings. The taxi ride from Chirundu to Chiawa should take about 15 to 20 minutes.
