Pasalimani

Driving from Piraeus port we pass by Pasalimani, a charming small harbor located in the area of Piraeus. It is one of the largest and most prominent marinas in the region, providing docking facilities for luxury yachts, sailing boats, and other types of vessels.

Mikrolimano

As we continue further down, we drive by Mikrolimano, a harbor similar to Pasalimani, where we can make a small stop for photos (if traffic allows it), as it offers a beautiful view of the sea and the city.

Panathenaic Stadium

The Panathenaic Stadium, also known as Kallimarmaro, is an ancient Greek stadium that is historically significant as the site of the Panathenaic Games. It is a popular tourist attraction and a symbol of ancient Greek athleticism and culture. Here, we will make a stop of around 15 minutes for photos.

Presidential Mansion

The Hellenic Presidential Mansion is a neoclassical building that serves as the residence of the president of the Hellenic Republic. It’s an elegant building with neoclassical architecture surrounded by the famous Presidential Guards, the Evzones.

Acropolis

The Acropolis of Athens is one of the most renowned archaeological sites in the world, showcasing the remains of numerous historical buildings, with the Parthenon being the most famous. The Acropolis is a UNESCO World Heritage site and the main attraction of ancient Athens. Guests visit the site on their own. The visit to the Acropolis is not mandatory. If you do not want to enter the site, you'll have the option to explore the Areopagus Hill and the Herodion, two historically and mythologically significant sites located right next to the Acropolis. You'll have one hour of free time to visit the monuments of your choice, take stunning photos, and admire the scenery. NOTE that the entry ticket for the Acropolis is not included in the price of the tour. November-March: 10euros per person April-October: 30euros per person

Hadrian's Arch

On our way, we will also pass by the Arch of Hadrian, a monumental gateway built by the Roman army on the order of the emperor Hadrian, approximately 1890 years ago.

Temple of Olympian Zeus

As we drive towards the city center, we will pass by the famous ruins of the Temple of Olympian Zeus. Dedicated to the king of the gods, Zeus, the temple's remains transport visitors to a bygone era and bring to mind the appreciation for ancient Greek engineering and religious devotion.

Syntagma

Syntagma is a central square located in front of the Hellenic Parliament and the Tomb of the unknown soldier. A major highlight of the square is the changing of the guard ceremony performed by the Evzones (the presidential guards), at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. We will also make a stop here for around 30 minutes for photos.

National and Kapodistrian University of Athens

The Athenian trilogy is a group of three monumental buildings designed in a neoclassical style, featuring beautiful statues of prominent Greek philosophers and elegant columns. The trilogy consists of: -The University of Athens -The National Library of Greece -The Academy of Athens We will make a small stop for photos if traffic allows it.

Monastiraki

Monastiraki & Plaka. Our last stop will be at Monastiraki and Plaka, two vibrant and historic neighborhoods in the heart of Athens, where you’ll be able to stroll around the narrow, winding streets, enjoy a traditional Greek meal, or go shopping.
