This scenic trek begins at Gyamtsa (3,900m), just 3 km north of Leh city center. Upon reaching the starting point, you'll embark on a 2-3 hour walk through a picturesque valley, where you'll witness the region's diverse flora and fauna. The trail gradually ascends to Gyamtsa La (4,800m), offering stunning panoramic views of the Indus Valley and the Ladakh Range. From here, you'll also see the main route leading to Lasermo La. After a well-deserved break at the pass, the trek descends towards Murubrok (3,900m) and concludes in Phyang Village. As this is a moderately challenging trek, be sure to carry a packed lunch and plenty of water. Once you arrive at Phyang, a vehicle will be waiting to drive you back to Leh.
