What to expect
Witness amazing views of Hobart and surrounds from the summit. On our descent from the mountain enjoy a short easy walk around the amazing Exhibition Gardens at the midway point "The Springs." There's also time to purchase a hot drink.

The Female Factory was the female equivalent to Port Arthur and was used to hold both women and children throughout the 1820's. It was a terrible place with only the most basic of facilities. Some ruins of the original building and walls still exist. Your driver guide will provide a brief history of this fascinating place.
