Cusco
Today you will visit the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, the sacred city of the Incas. Pick up from your hotel at approximately 6:00 am, and travel in a comfortable transport to Ollantaytambo.

We will then take the train to Machu Picchu town (Aguas Calientes). The train trip to Machu Picchu includes spectacular views of the tropical jungle in this wonderful Inca land, amazing landscapes of the Inca Trail, the mountains of Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley, as well as Inca agricultural terraces on both sides, and snow-capped peaks in the distance. The Vilcanota River will be our companion until we reach Aguas Calientes, Machu Picchu town. Together with our official guide, we will go to the bus station and travel 35 minutes by bus to the citadel of Machu Picchu.

At the entry point, we hand in our tickets to one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Then we will start the 3-hour guided tour in Machu Picchu sacred city, in which we will observe the Inca architecture and the Inca hydraulic engineering and important sites of this archaeological center. We will take pictures at the classic photo places and will visit the main temple of Machu Picchu, the Temple of the Sun, as well as the Royal Tomb, the Intiwatana sundial, the Temple of the 3 Windows, the central square of Machu Picchu, the Sacred Rock of Machu Picchu, the Temple of the Condor and others. Our official guide will explain in detail the history and Incan culture that are felt so strongly here.
