Attention: If you have any problems walking or you walk slowly, we don't advise you this tour!

Although an early start, this made the Pena tour not crowded and was worth waking up for because the line was long when we left. Our tour guide and driver, Lukas was knowledgeable and entertaining. He was a good guide in the Pena palace and He knew many nice stops for pretty and quick photos. However, There were a couple of items that were not clear and caused some confusion. An example was the lunch, which the reservation stated was not included. However where we ate lunch was predecided and we were asked to preorder what we wanted. The food was fine but the price was unknown(27 euro). Similarly the reservation clearly stated that only the 2nd palace was included in the price, it wasn’t clear what the price would be for the Pena palace or how we were to pay it. (32 Euro)

We have a wonderful experience, we couldn’t ask for more. Our guide, Javi was very knowledgeable and provided lots of info about the history, places and architecture. We also learned a lot Fado music which was great. The lunch food was also good. We highly recommend it !

I thoroughly enjoyed the day. Lukas is a great guide . Ten hours passed by quickly and effortlessly because the schedule and pace of the day was well planned and I was impressed at how much we were able to see and learn about the area in one day. He provided history and interesting facts about the sites we visited. Highly recommend!

Amazing trip, highly recommend for other fellow solo travellers as it is an excellent opportunity to meet other people. My initial tour guide unfortunately couldn’t make it due to an illness which slightly changed the plans but Nuno swiftly fixed this problem allowing me to still enjoy the trip the same day, thank you! The tour guide was very knowledgable and gave us some interesting facts as we were driving to each destination. I would have however liked having the tour guide throughout each location rather than being dropped for some time, this would allow us to understand our surroundings a bit more. The only downside would be that the full description of the trip didn’t exactly match the one we had, such as the traditional pastry/ personalised photos or water bottles, however this was because the tour operator was slightly different (not Happy Tours) to accommodate the tour guide not being well. In sum, my group nonetheless enjoyed the whole trip made possible thanks to a great effort by Nuno to still fit us in the initial date, thank you :)

GUI was the best tour host and guide. Knowledgeable, engaging and he brings the fun! Lunch is superb also. Of course, the epic views and amazing history in Cascais and especially Sintra make this an unforgettable experience. You will definitely not regret booking this tour. Mick & Sharon.

This was a splendid all day trip with Gui! Sintra was exceptionally beautiful & Cascais lovely. We had a wonderful lunch as a group, definitely order the grilled sea bass! Gui, our guide was so friendly and informative, especially explaining the history of the places we saw and entertaining us in between. A word of advice, before the walk up to Sintra, definitely hydrate and take your time walking up the road. It’s uphill, long and in altitude other than that - Sintra is amazing! Thank you Gui!
