We booked this tour so that we could orient ourselves to the layout of the city. Our guide met us promptly at the described meeting place and quickly started explaining the history of Lisbon and how it was effected by the 1755 earthquake. He brought us to many original buildings and many beautiful plazas, explaining the monuments and their significance.. He was very conscious of our pace , slowing down on the hills. He was very knowledgeable and always answered our questions in an educated manner. When we finished the tour at the gorgeous viewpoint , all the information came together and the layout of the city revealed itself to us. Great tour and guide.

Good way to get an overview of the city. Definitely bring water and your walking shoes and you’re good to go, the tour covers a lot of ground. My tour guide was great, very knowledgeable, explained everything well, was very open to questions and gave recommendations. It started and finished early enough that if you wanted to go back to something or explore something else you still have a good amount of time in your day to do so.

Pedro was our guide for the Revelation Tour. What a true student of history he is! He is an excellent guide that can really pack a lot of information into a tour, in an interesting and engaging way. He has a true understanding and respect for the history of the area, and he carries you along with his love for the area all along the journey.
Rita gave us a private tour of Belem, and she was a complete joy. Her energy was perfect for our group, and the tour was fun, pleasant, and informative. It was hard to say goodbye to her! She was so knowledgeable and also clearly someone who adored and appreciated the history of the area.
This company clearly has very high standards for their tour guides, so I don't think you could go wrong with anyone working here, but I certainly do highly recommend Rita and Pedro.

Pedro is a fantastic guide. Knowledgeable, insightful, curious and fun. We learned so very much about Lisbon and Portugal in a very short period of time. We shared Pedro with one other couple which was a perfect group size. Plenty of time for questions and detailed responses. We can’t recommend this walking tour enough. Ask for Pedro. Wonderful experience.

A great tour and a great introducion to Lisbon. A full morning of walking around town and seeing the sites. It was at a good pace, never felt hurried but we covered a lot of the city.
