She initially worked various jobs to make ends meet before finding her calling as an immigration advisor, a role where she could use her knowledge and empathy to help others navigate the complexities of the immigration system. She met her husband, David, a history teacher, at a local community center, and they built a life together in London. While she enjoys her work, her passion lies in exploring new places and sharing her experiences through her travel blog on Evendo.

My Travel Highlight
One of my most cherished travel experiences was visiting a remote Himba village in Namibia. Exploring the Okavango Delta in Botswana by mokoro (traditional canoe) was an unforgettable adventure. Gliding through the waterways, surrounded by wildlife and the sounds of nature, was both exhilarating and serene.

Italy! From the pasta in Rome to the pizza in Naples and the seafood in Sicily, every meal was a celebration of fresh, local ingredients and culinary tradition. I especially enjoyed taking a cooking class in Tuscany and learning the secrets of authentic Italian cuisine.
