Loide was born and raised in Omaruru, Namibia, where she grew up surrounded by a close-knit community and a rich cultural heritage. After completing her education, she moved to London in her late twenties, seeking new opportunities. She initially worked various jobs to make ends meet before finding her calling as an immigration advisor, a role where she could use her knowledge and empathy to help others navigate the complexities of the immigration system. She met her husband, David, a history teacher, at a local community center, and they built a life together in London. While she enjoys her work, her passion lies in exploring new places and sharing her experiences through her travel blog on Evendo.

    Exploring the Okavango Delta in Botswana by mokoro (traditional canoe) was an unforgettable adventure. Gliding through the waterways, surrounded by wildlife and the sounds of nature, was both exhilarating and serene.
