Today was a sensory feast, a vibrant blend of cultural immersion and natural splendor that only the High Atlas Mountains could offer. Leaving the familiar comforts of my guesthouse, I ventured deeper into the heart of the Imlil region, eager to uncover the stories woven into its landscapes and the lives of its people.

My day began with a hearty breakfast at Happy Family House. The name itself was an invitation, and the warm hospitality I received was a comforting reminder of the universal language of kindness. Over steaming cups of mint tea and freshly baked bread, I planned my route for the day, a blend of cultural exploration and scenic hikes.

First on the agenda was a visit to the women cooperative of carpet Berber handcrafted in atlas of Morocco community. As someone who appreciates craftsmanship and sustainable practices, I was eager to learn about the traditional art of carpet weaving. The cooperative was a hive of activity, women of all ages working diligently at their looms, their hands moving with a practiced grace passed down through generations.
