    If you are traveling by car, start by getting onto US-98 E if you are in the southern part of the Alabama Coastal Birding Trail. Continue on US-98 E for approximately 20 miles until you reach the junction with AL-133 N. Take AL-133 N and follow it for about 15 miles until you reach the junction with US-72 E. Merge onto US-72 E and continue for approximately 25 miles. Then take the exit toward AL-207 N. After about 2 miles on AL-207 N, turn left onto McLean Dr. Joe Wheeler State Park will be on your right at 4403 McLean Dr, Rogersville, AL 35652.
