Getting There

• Car

  From Monte Sano State Park, start by exiting the park and turning onto the main road, Monte Sano Blvd. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with US-431 S. Turn left onto US-431 S. Follow US-431 S for approximately 5 miles, then take the exit toward I-565 W. Merge onto I-565 W and continue for about 4 miles. Take exit 19A for US-231 S toward Huntsville. Continue on US-231 S for about 1 mile, then take the exit for Governors Dr. Turn right onto Governors Dr, which becomes Madison St SE. Continue on Madison St SE for about 1 mile. The EarlyWorks Children's Museum will be on your left at 404 Madison St SE, Huntsville, AL 35801. Parking is available nearby, and there may be a parking fee depending on the location you choose.

  From Monte Sano State Park, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to reach the nearest public transportation hub. Once you reach the Huntsville Transit System, take bus route 11 towards the downtown area. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop nearest to the intersection of Madison St SE and Church St. From there, it is a short walk of about 5 minutes to the EarlyWorks Children's Museum located at 404 Madison St SE, Huntsville, AL 35801. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may vary.
