If you are driving from the center of Lura Lakes, start by heading southwest on the road that leads to the SH24 highway. Continue on SH24 towards the town of Kukës. After approximately 30 minutes, you will reach a junction where you should turn left onto SH8. Follow SH8 for about 1 hour until you reach the coastal town of Himarë. Then, take a right turn towards Jala Beach. Follow the road until you reach the Gjiri i Akuariumit, which is located at latitude 40.1129246 and longitude 19.7124391. Parking is available near the beach area.

Public Transportation
To reach Gjiri i Akuariumit using public transport, start by taking a bus from Lura Lakes to Himarë. Buses typically leave from the main bus station and the journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Himarë, you will need to transfer to a local minibus or taxi heading to Jala Beach. The minibus ride will take around 15-20 minutes. Make sure to inform the driver that you wish to get off at Gjiri i Akuariumit. The total cost for the bus ride is approximately 500 ALL (Albanian Lek) for the trip to Himarë, and around 200 ALL for the local transport to Jala Beach.
