Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start from the center of Malësia (e.g., from Bajram Curri) and head south towards the SH1 highway. Follow the SH1 for approximately 22 kilometers until you reach the junction for the Permet area. Turn left onto the road leading to Permet and continue for about 30 kilometers. You will pass through beautiful landscapes and small villages. As you approach Ogdunan, look for signs indicating 'Llixhat e Bënjës'. The thermal baths are located just a short drive off the main road in Ogdunan, and parking is available nearby.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, take a bus from Bajram Curri or another major town in Malësia to Permet. The bus ride typically takes around 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Permet, you will need to take a taxi or a local minibus to Ogdunan. The taxi ride will take about 30 minutes, and the cost should be around 2000-3000 ALL (Albanian Lek). Inform the driver that you are going to Llixhat e Bënjës, and they will drop you off close to the thermal baths.

• Combination of Public Transport and Walking

  Another option is to take a bus from Malësia to Permet and then walk or cycle the remaining distance to Ogdunan. After arriving in Permet, you can rent a bicycle or simply walk along the scenic route. The distance from Permet to Ogdunan is about 10 kilometers, and the walk will take approximately 2 hours. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as the path can be steep in certain areas.
