Getting There

  • Public Transport

    From Andorra la Vella, take the L2 bus towards Encamp, the closest access point to Grandvalira. Buses run frequently, approximately every hour. The journey to Encamp takes about 20 minutes. From the 'Le Escaldes' stop, the Grup Montmantell buses run every hour. You need to go to the 'Soldeu', which is located 15 minutes walk from the resort. Cost: A single bus fare costs around €2-€3.

  • Taxi

    Taxis are readily available in Andorra la Vella. A taxi ride to Encamp, the closest access point to Grandvalira, takes approximately 15 minutes. Cost: Expect to pay around €15-€20 for a taxi from Andorra la Vella to Encamp.

  • Driving

    From Andorra la Vella, take the CG-2 road towards France. Encamp, the first access to Grandvalira, is located just 5 km from Andorra la Vella. Follow the signs for Grandvalira and Encamp. Parking: Paid parking is available at the base of the Encamp gondola. Rates vary depending on the time of year, but expect to pay around €10 per day.

Grandvalira Resorts Andorra is the leading ski and mountain tourism group in the Pyrenees and Southern Europe. It manages all the Andorran ski resorts: Ordino Arcalís, Pal Arinsal and Grandvalira. Founded in 2003 with the merger of two historic resorts, Pas de la Casa – Grau Roig (est. 1956) and Soldeu-El Tarter (est. 1964), Grandvalira has grown to become an international benchmark for quality, assurance, trust and safety. In 2018, Ordino Arcalís was added, officially forming Grandvalira Resorts Andorra. Grandvalira itself has more than 215 km of slopes across seven sectors: Canillo, Soldeu, Pas de la Casa, Encamp, El Tarter, El Peretol and Grau Roig. This extensive offering makes it an ideal destination with a great number of services and activities available beyond skiing or snowboarding. The resort offers a wide range of activities for all tastes and ages, ensuring that each visitor can enjoy the perfect experience. One of the most outstanding activities is the Màgic Gliss, a unique attraction located in Canillo, where you can enjoy an exciting descent on a 555-metre-long slide with speeds up to 40 km/h. For the more adventurous, Grandvalira offers the possibility of skiing on the night slope, located in Pas de la Casa, where you can ski under the stars. Grandvalira Resorts Andorra puts more than 120 ski lifts and other equipment at your disposal to help you move around and explore the different sectors. The services and facilities available throughout the multi-resort area include Wi-Fi, toilets, shops, equipment hire, parking, lockers and more. The vast majority of the access points are adapted for use by disabled visitors.
