The easiest way to reach Miradouro da Lua is by car. From Luanda, take the EN100 highway south towards Belas. The viewpoint is located approximately 40 km (25 miles) south of Luanda. The drive takes about an hour, depending on traffic. Look for signs indicating the Miradouro da Lua; the entrance is located just off the main road. Be sure to use GPS, as the side road has few sign markings and the entrance is easy to miss. There is no toll on this route. Parking is available near the viewpoint. Cost: Fuel for a round trip from Luanda will likely cost approximately 2,000-3,000 AOA, depending on the vehicle.

To reach Miradouro da Lua by public transport, take a bus from Luanda to Belas. Buses are available from various points in Luanda. From Belas, you may need to take a taxi or 'candongueiro' (informal shared taxi) to the viewpoint, as it is located a few kilometers outside of the town.
