    From the center of El Chaltén, head towards the visitor center/ranger station near the access bridge of Fitz Roy river. Cross the bridge and continue to the trailhead. Follow the well-marked path uphill for approximately 30-45 minutes to reach the viewpoint. The trail is moderately steep but manageable for most fitness levels. There are no entrance fees for the viewpoint itself, but as of October 2024, there is a fee to enter Los Glaciares National Park (45,000 pesos for foreigners).
