    To reach Maipo from Purmamarca by car, start by heading south on Provincial Route 9 (Ruta Provincial 9) from Purmamarca. Continue for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach the junction with National Route 52 (Ruta Nacional 52). Take a left onto National Route 52 and follow it for about 160 kilometers until you reach the town of Uspallata. From Uspallata, take Route 7 west towards Mendoza.
