Getting There

• Walking

  Start at the Ushuaia city center, specifically in Plaza Malvinas. Head north on Avenida San Martín until you reach Avenida Maipú. Turn left onto Avenida Maipú and continue until you reach the roundabout. From the roundabout, take the exit onto Calle Yowen, which will take you into the residential area. As you walk, look for signs pointing towards Glaciar Martial. The path will lead you through a scenic area with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.

• Hiking

  Once you reach the base of Glaciar Martial, follow the marked hiking trail that begins at the end of Calle Yowen. The trail is well-defined and will take you through forested areas and up along the mountainside. Be prepared for a moderate hike that takes approximately 1-2 hours depending on your pace. Along the way, you'll encounter viewpoints with stunning panoramas of Ushuaia and the Beagle Channel.

• Bus

  From the city center, you can take a local bus (Line 4) that goes to the base of Glaciar Martial. Board the bus at the stop near Avenida San Martín. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you reach the terminus, you will be at the starting point for the trail leading to the glacier. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as it can vary depending on the time of year.
