Getting There

• Public Bus

  Start by walking to the nearest bus stop on Route 66 in Flagstaff. You can catch the Mountain Line bus #10 towards the Flagstaff Mall. Stay on the bus until you reach the transfer station. From there, transfer to bus #7, which heads towards Sedona. Inform the driver you want to get off at the Schnebly Hill Road stop. Once you exit the bus, follow Schnebly Hill Road for about 2 miles until you reach the Schnebly Hill Vista Overlook.

  Rent a bike from a local bike shop in Flagstaff, such as the Flagstaff Bicycle Revolution. Once you have your bike, head east on Route 66, continuing until you reach the intersection with 89A. The driver will take you directly to the overlook, which is approximately a 45-minute drive depending on traffic. Be sure to confirm the address with the driver before you leave.

  If you are feeling adventurous and want to hike, consider a walking tour that starts in Flagstaff. Head towards the Coconino National Forest trailhead, which is a well-marked area. From there, you can embark on a scenic hike that follows the trails leading towards Sedona. This route may take several hours, so carry plenty of water and snacks.
