    From Mesa, take State Hwy. 87 north for approximately 27 miles. Turn right onto Bush Highway/Forest Road (FR) 204 and continue for 2 miles. Turn left onto FR 166 and follow it for 2 miles to reach the site. Parking is available at the Butcher Jones Recreation Site, but it can fill up quickly, especially on weekends. A Tonto Daily Pass is required for each vehicle and costs $8 if purchased in advance at local vendors or $12 if purchased on-site. Alternatively, the America the Beautiful Pass is accepted. Be prepared to pay with a debit or credit card.
