If you are driving from Phoenix, take US-60 E towards Globe for about 60 miles. Merge onto AZ-88 N (Apache Trail) towards Roosevelt Lake. After approximately 20 miles, you will reach the intersection with AZ-188. Turn left onto AZ-188 and continue for about 4 miles until you see signs for Acacia Recreation Site on your right. Follow the signs to the parking area.
