Car
From the Phoenix area, take the AZ-202 S freeway toward the southeast. Merge onto the US-60 E and continue until you reach the junction with AZ-87 N. Take AZ-87 N toward Payson. After approximately 20 miles, turn left onto FR 143 (also known as Saguaro Del Norte Road). Follow this road for about 3 miles until you reach the Saguaro Del Norte Recreation Site entrance. There are no fees to enter the site, but remember to bring any necessary supplies as amenities are limited.

If you are using public transportation, first take a Valley Metro bus to the nearest stop in Scottsdale, AZ. From there, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to get to the Saguaro Del Norte Recreation Site, as public transport does not extend directly to the site.
