Car
From the Phoenix area, take the AZ-202 S freeway toward the southeast. Merge onto the US-60 E and continue until you reach the junction with AZ-87 N. Take AZ-87 N toward Payson. After approximately 20 miles, turn left onto FR 143 (also known as Saguaro Del Norte Road). Follow this road for about 3 miles until you reach the Saguaro Del Norte Recreation Site entrance. There are no fees to enter the site, but remember to bring any necessary supplies as amenities are limited.
