Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car within Kaibab National Forest, make your way to Forest Service Road. From most locations in the forest, you can follow the signs directing you towards Fredonia. Once you reach the intersection with Highway 89A, turn onto Forest Service Road heading west. Continue on this road for approximately 5 miles, and you will find Kaibab Camper Village on your right. Look for the entrance sign to the campground.

• Public Transportation and Walk

  If you are utilizing public transportation, your best option is to take a bus to the nearest town, which is Fredonia. Once in Fredonia, you can either arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you to Kaibab Camper Village, which is about 5 miles away on Forest Service Road. If you prefer walking, it's advisable to check local maps, as there may not be designated pedestrian paths. The walk might take over an hour, so ensure you have appropriate supplies and plan accordingly.

• Bicycle

  For those who wish to cycle, you can bike from Fredonia to Kaibab Camper Village. Start from the center of Fredonia and head north to Highway 89A. Turn onto Forest Service Road and continue for about 5 miles. Be cautious of vehicle traffic, as this road may not have bike lanes. Make sure to wear a helmet and bring water, especially during warmer months.
