Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving within Kaibab National Forest, navigate to the Kaibab Plateau Visitor Center located at the following coordinates: 36.7130787, -112.2171843. From the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, take AZ-67 South for approximately 25 miles until you reach the junction with Forest Road 610. Turn left onto Forest Road 610, and follow it for about 7 miles until you arrive at the visitor center. There is no fee for parking at the center.

• Public Transportation

  Currently, there are limited public transportation options directly to the Kaibab Plateau Visitor Center. The nearest town is Fredonia, AZ. You can reach Fredonia by bus from larger cities like Las Vegas or Phoenix, but you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service from Fredonia to the visitor center, which is about 15 miles away. Costs for taxi services may vary, so it's advisable to check local rates in advance.

• Bicycle

  For the adventurous, consider biking to the Kaibab Plateau Visitor Center. If you're starting from the North Rim, you can ride along AZ-67 South, which offers a scenic route.
