Bus
To reach the Sonoran Preserve - Desert Vista Trailhead from downtown Phoenix, start by heading to the nearest Valley Metro bus stop. You can take Bus Route 50 from Central Avenue and Van Buren Street towards the Desert Sky Transit Center. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes, then get off at the stop at 19th Avenue and Happy Valley Road. From there, transfer to Bus Route 83 towards the Desert Ridge Marketplace. Ride for approximately 15 minutes and get off at the stop at 16th Street and Sonoran Desert Drive. Walk east for about 5 minutes to reach the entrance of the Sonoran Preserve - Desert Vista Trailhead.

Light Rail and Bus
From the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, take the PHX Sky Train to the 44th Street/Washington Light Rail station. From there, board the Light Rail heading towards Mesa and get off at the 19th Avenue/Deer Valley stop. Transfer to Bus Route 83 towards Desert Ridge Marketplace. After about 20 minutes, get off at the stop at 16th Street and Sonoran Desert Drive. Walk east for around 5 minutes to reach the Sonoran Preserve - Desert Vista Trailhead.

Bicycle
If you prefer to ride a bike, you can rent one from a local bike rental service. Start your ride from the downtown Phoenix area and head north on Central Avenue. Follow the bike lanes towards Deer Valley Road, then take a left onto 19th Avenue. Continue north until you reach Happy Valley Road, where you can then turn right. Follow Happy Valley Road until you reach Sonoran Desert Drive, then turn left. The Sonoran Preserve - Desert Vista Trailhead will be on your right after a short distance.
