If you are driving from Sedona, take AZ-89A North out of Sedona. After about 23 miles, merge onto AZ-260 East toward Payson. Continue on AZ-260 for approximately 27 miles. You will find Paleo Site Monument on your right before you reach Payson. Look for the signs indicating the monument, and be prepared to park in the designated area.

If you are coming from Flagstaff, take I-17 South toward Phoenix. Exit at AZ-260 East (Exit 287) and follow AZ-260 for about 45 miles. Continue on AZ-260 until you reach the Paleo Site Monument, which will be on your left as you approach Payson. Make sure to look out for the signs for the monument.

To reach Paleo Site Monument via public transportation, take a Greyhound bus to Payson. From the Payson bus station, you'll need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) to get to the monument, as public transport may not go directly there. The distance from the bus station to the monument is about 5 miles.
