If you are in downtown Scottsdale, you can take the Valley Metro Bus Route 72. Head to the nearest bus stop, which should be along Scottsdale Road. Board the bus heading towards Tempe. You will need to stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop at Rural Rd & Southern Ave. From there, walk east on Southern Ave, then turn left onto S Forest Ave. Arizona State University Tempe Campus will be on your right.

If you enjoy cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Scottsdale. Start your ride heading south on the Arizona Canal Path. Continue on the path until you reach the intersection with Rural Rd. Turn right onto Rural Rd and head south. Once you reach Southern Ave, turn left. Finally, turn right onto S Forest Ave, and the Arizona State University Tempe Campus will be ahead on your right.

If you are near the Scottsdale Waterfront, you can walk to Arizona State University Tempe Campus. Head south on Scottsdale Rd until you reach the intersection with Southern Ave. Cross the street and keep walking straight until you reach Rural Rd.
