Public Bus
Start at the nearest bus stop. If you're in downtown Scottsdale, head to the Scottsdale Waterfront stop. From there, take the Valley Metro Bus Route 81 heading east on East Camelback Road towards the 68th Street stop. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the 68th Street & Indian School Road stop. Then, transfer to Bus Route 72 towards Tempe. Ride for about 10 minutes and get off at the 75th Street & Indian Bend Road stop. From there, walk south for about 5 minutes to reach the Scottsdale Railroad Museum located at 7301 E Indian Bend Rd.

If you're comfortable cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Scottsdale. Head south on the Arizona Canal Path, following the canal. Continue until you reach East Indian Bend Road.
