From Arizona State University (ASU), head east on E University Dr towards S College Ave. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach S Rural Rd. Turn left onto S Rural Rd and walk for approximately 0.2 miles. Then, turn right onto E Southern Ave. The Tempe History Museum will be on your left at 809 E Southern Ave. This walk is about a 15-minute journey.

From ASU, walk to the nearest bus stop located at S Mill Ave & E University Dr (approximately a 5-minute walk). Take Valley Metro Bus Route 61 or Route 70 towards the Tempe History Museum. Get off at the stop at E Southern Ave & S Rural Rd. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk east on E Southern Ave to reach the museum. The bus fare is $2.00 for a single ride.
