From there, transfer to Bus Route 105, which will take you directly to 'Sonoran Desert Dr & 16th Ave' stop. The trailhead is a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop. Head west along Sonoran Desert Drive, and you will find the entrance to the preserve.

    If you prefer to bike, rent a bicycle from a local bike rental shop in Tempe. Head north on Mill Ave toward the Tempe Town Lake. From there, follow the path that connects to the Arizona Canal Trail. Continue on the trail heading northwest for about 10 miles. When you reach the intersection with 19th Ave, head south until you arrive at Sonoran Desert Drive. Turn right and continue until you reach the Desert Vista Trailhead entrance.

The Desert Vista Trailhead will be a short walk ahead on your left.
