Car
If you are driving from the main visitor center in Tonto National Forest, start by heading east on AZ-87 N for approximately 25 miles. Then, take exit 199 for AZ-260 E toward Payson. Continue on AZ-260 E for about 20 miles until you reach the town of Scottsdale. Follow signs for Scottsdale and merge onto N Scottsdale Rd. After a few miles, turn left onto E Pinnacle Peak Rd. Continue for about 2 miles and then turn right onto N 102nd Way. Pinnacle Peak Park will be on your right at 26802 N 102nd Way.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, you can take a bus from the Tonto National Forest area to Scottsdale. First, catch the Valley Metro Bus Route 562 from the nearest bus stop heading toward Scottsdale. Ride for about 50 minutes to the Scottsdale City Hall stop. From there, you will need to transfer to Bus Route 81 towards Pinnacle Peak. The bus will take you directly to a stop near Pinnacle Peak Park. As you disembark, walk east on E Pinnacle Peak Rd for about 0.5 miles, then turn right onto N 102nd Way where you will find Pinnacle Peak Park.
