Getting There

  • Public Transport

    From downtown Tucson, take the Sun Tran bus route #7 or #17 to Reid Park. The #7 bus runs along 22nd Street, and the #17 bus runs on Country Club Road. Get off at the bus stops closest to the intersection of 22nd Street and Lakeshore Lane or Country Club Road and Eastland Street, respectively. From either stop, it's a short walk to the zoo entrance. A single ride on Sun Tran costs $1.75.

  • Walking

    If you are already in Gene C. Reid Park, follow the paved multi-use trails toward the southeast section of the park. The zoo is located near the Edith Ball Adaptive Recreation Center and Hi Corbett Field. Look for the zoo entrance off of Lakeshore Lane. There is no cost for walking to the zoo within the park.

  • Driving

    From I-10, take exit #259 onto 22nd Street and head east. Turn left onto Lakeshore Lane. From 22nd Street traveling west, turn right onto Randolph Way. Follow the signs to the Reid Park Zoo parking lot, located north of the zoo entrance and behind the Edith Ball Adaptive Recreation Center. Parking is free.
