Getting There

• Public Bus

  To reach Parrot Island Waterpark from the Fort Smith downtown area, start by walking to the nearest bus stop located on Garrison Avenue. Look for the River Valley Metro bus service, specifically the Route 5, which services this area. Board the bus heading south towards the South Zero Street stop. The ride should take approximately 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive at the South Zero Street stop, exit the bus and walk south along Zero Street for about 0.3 miles. You will find Parrot Island Waterpark at 7300 S Zero St on your right. The waterpark is clearly marked, and you will have to cross the street at the designated crosswalk.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Fort Smith. Starting from the Fort Smith downtown area, head south on 8th Street. Continue straight until you reach Garrison Avenue and then turn left. Follow Garrison Avenue until you reach S Zero Street, then turn right. Continue riding south on Zero Street for about 2 miles, and you will see Parrot Island Waterpark on your left at 7300 S Zero St. Use bike lanes where available for safety.

• Walking

  If you're up for a walk, start at the Fort Smith Convention Center located at 55 S 7th St. Head south on 7th Street until you reach Garrison Avenue. Turn right onto Garrison Avenue and walk until you reach S Zero Street. Turn left onto S Zero Street and continue walking for about 1.5 miles. Parrot Island Waterpark will be on your right at 7300 S Zero St. Please be mindful of traffic and use crosswalks to ensure safety.
