Getting There

    From Sherwood, head to the nearest bus stop, such as the one at 101 W Kiehl Ave. Board the Pulaski County Metro Transit bus route 8 towards Little Rock. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes. The bus will take you to the Little Rock Zoo stop located at 1 Zoo Dr, Little Rock, AR 72205. After getting off, you will see the entrance to the zoo within a short walking distance.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer to bike, start from Sherwood City Hall and head south on Kiehl Ave. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with 67/167. Use the bike lanes where available. Once you reach the intersection, turn left onto 67/167 and continue towards Little Rock. Follow the signs for the zoo, which is located at 1 Zoo Dr. The bike ride should take approximately 45 minutes, depending on your speed.

  • Walking

    For those who enjoy walking, start at Sherwood Park and head south on W Kiehl Ave. Continue until you reach the intersection with 67/167. Cross at the pedestrian crosswalk and proceed onto 67/167 heading towards Little Rock. Walk for about 2.5 miles until you reach 1 Zoo Dr. The walk will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Make sure to follow pedestrian paths and stay safe while walking along the road.
